A Spiral Walk (NL)

A Spiral Walk is the new collaboration between Mayo and CAH, blending the darkness and light of their unique musical worlds. Their debut album, to be released on Coloray's Intercept label, showcases an unconventional mix of heavy beats, melancholic vocals, and catchy melodies that invite listeners into a musical labyrinth to lose and find themselves.

Mayo, a DJ and producer with a decade-long career, has built a name in the international electronic music scene. Her journey began as a drummer in a punk band, but her transition to electronic music brought her to renowned venues such as Tresor (Berlin), Garage Noord (Amsterdam), and Dekmantel (Amsterdam). Maintaining her punk ethos, Mayo’s energetic performances and extensive releases on acclaimed labels like United Identities and Brokntoys highlight her dynamic artistry.

CAH, the alter ego of Cas Hieltjes, brings his experimental sound to the project. Known for his work with Go Back To The Zoo, St. Tropez, and 4B2M, CAH has evolved from energetic pop/rock to post-punk and now to a solo endeavor exploring synthesizers, drum machines, and melancholic vocal textures. His past projects include highlights like a gold record, main stage performances at Pinkpop and Lowlands, and recognition from the BBC and NME.

Together, Mayo and CAH create a powerful synergy that bridges their diverse influences. A Spiral Walk’s debut at Grauzone marks their first-ever performance in the Netherlands, promising an unforgettable live experience. Don’t miss this unique premiere!
