Anika

Originally a political journalist, Anika found her voice in music, and what a voice it is—haunting, hypnotic, and wholly unforgettable. Her collaborations with Geoff Barrow of BEAK> and the cult band Exploded View have cemented her reputation as an artist unafraid to blur the lines between genres. With her latest album, Change, Anika delves into themes of personal growth and collective responsibility, blending dark, minimalist soundscapes with poetic, introspective lyrics.

At Grauzone, Anika will perform tracks from Change, a record that the Guardian called "a triumph of sonic daring’’, but also songs from her upcoming album. Expect an otherworldly journey through sound, where haunting vocals meet post-punk basslines and dub-influenced rhythms.
