Genesis BREYER P-ORRIDGE: There is only one artwork..L-if-E
The first Dutch solo - exhibition and retrospective of Genesis BREYER P - ORRIDGE at Billytown in The Hague.
The Retrospective features more than 30 works of art; collages, photography, drawings, video's, texts from the early 70s till never shown work, made for this exhibition.

Genesis, also known as (co-)founder of Psychic TV, Throbbing Gristle, COUM Transmissions and pandrogender project together with former partner Lady Jaye.
The Retrospective features more than 20 works of art; The exhibition includes collages, photography, drawings, video's, texts from the early 70s till never shown work, made for this exhibition. Last February the exhibition was on show in Holland, part of Grauzone festival.

Each sculpture, for example acts like pages of a sensory diary releasing its potency in new activated forms, often assembled in “sigil” rituals that once would have been “performance art” but are now are conducted privately as they are so intimate and intense.
So everything we do, say, eat, see, hear etc is all part of a L-if-E s works and events. All ultimately of equal importance.
