Grauzone festival is since the first edition a meat free and climate friendly festival and works every edition on consciousness by the audience, bookers and venues.

Although we don’t want to be dogmatic about it, we try with positive actions to help our ecosystem as far as we can.

We have rules to achieve our goals:

• vegan catering for audience, artists and employees

• only use compostable plastic and cutlery

• 100% organic, low carbon and sweatfree merchandise

• printed artwork is made of 100% recycled paper

• stimulate artists and bookers to travel by train and car instead of by airplane. We invest in this, since train rides are still more expensive than flights

• stimulate the audience to travel with a lo CO2 impact

We believe that festivals and the entertainment industry can do more towards the climate, carbon and airpollution. We aim to find solutions that can make Grauzone carbon nautral, give support to the local causes and not create any air pollution.
