Hailing from Amsterdam, Housepainters are a trio crafting a unique blend of wave, disco, and dub that feels both gloomy and energizing. Their sound is marked by hypnotic electronic rhythms, echo-drenched vocals, and an undeniable danceable edge. Their debut 7” single, Fixed Position, was released on the Swiss label Bongo Joe Records and has already turned heads in the underground scene. Fans can anticipate their full-length debut album, set for release in spring 2024, which promises to dive even deeper into their distinctive, wavy soundscape.
