Khorshid dadbeh (IR)
Meet Khorshid Dadbeh, a talented musician from Iran who plays three special instruments: tar, tanbour, and setar. She comes from a family that loves art, and she started playing setar (a key instrument in Persian classical music) when she was young, learning from her dad.
Later, Dadbeh went to the Conservatory of Tehran to study more about tanbour and tar from music experts. Recently, she finished studying music at Codarts-University for the Arts in the Netherlands.
Now, Khorshid Dadbeh travels around the world, sharing her music on different stages. Sometimes she plays with her family group called 'Jansouz,' with other musicians, or on her own.
You can catch her amazing performance at Grauzone in the beautiful Barth Kapel. Dadbeh has also been on TV and performed at the Le Guess Who festival recently.
